Autumn is approaching and the leaves are falling to the ground. In this printable game, kids will help to sort out the leaves and find which numbered tree they came from. It’s a fun way to practice number recognition, reading number words and count with ten frames.

Playing This Fun Autumn Counting Game
Print out the sheets with numbered trees. I suggest laminating them for durability.
Place the trees in a circle on the outer edge of a small table.
Print out the leaves and cut them into individual cards. I suggest laminating these too as it makes it easier for children to hold. Place these into a bowl in the middle of the table.
When creating this game, I had a small group setting in mind. Kids can take turns picking out one leaf card at a time and deciding which tree it has fallen from. They’ll be able to practice ten frame counting, reading number words and number recognition.
