Playing This Fun Fall Literacy Game

For this game, you will need some tokens to use for covering the letters. This can be any small manipulative – pompoms, buttons, beads, mini erasers or anything you have, really!

Print out the 2 colored playing mats with letters. You can stick them into a file folder or laminate them if using on a classroom table. Then print out the pages with letters and cut them up into individual cards.

Ask your student to take a card up one at a time and have them match the letter on the mat. This preschool letter recognition game continues until all letters have been found and covered.
