I created this Bee Life Cycle free printable worksheet because I couldn’t find any that were suitable for my son online. Last year, he was telling me all about the tadpoles they were observing his classroom so we did some worksheets about the Frog Life Cycle. This year, he’s really into insects. We even planted some wildflowers in the garden hoping there will be plenty of pollinators for him to observe this coming Spring! I hope you find this to be a useful addition to your bug learning unit too.

Using This Spring Science Printable

There are a few variations included in this free printable. First, I would suggest printing out the cover page and laminating it to use as a poster in the classroom or teaching tool. This gives an overview of the whole bee life cycle.

There are 2 full-color pages that you can print out and prepare as a file folder game. The page with the empty spaces can be placed on one side of the folder and the pictures and names for your student to stick unto the correct spaces can be arranged on the other side. They can use the original poster as a guide to ensure they are placing the images and names in the right order.

If you’re preparing a full bug learning unit, there are also black and white worksheets included where preschoolers or kindergarteners will enjoy cutting and pasting the names and pictures into the empty spaces.
